Deploy reliable equipment when launching a new business
When we set up a plant to sort waste plastic, we were looking for a way to prevent foreign materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is used to sheath electrical wires, from entering the raw materials.
Wind sorting machine and Beltuza in a sorting test with a demo machine
When sorting mixed plastics from home electronics as raw materials, we were looking for a method to remove foreign substances as much as possible, since we could not install a washing specific gravity sorting facility. We considered using near-infrared sorting equipment for resin sorting, but when we learned that there was a method for sorting by detecting color, we thought it might be possible because polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is used to coat electrical wires, is colorful, such as red.
Therefore, we conducted a sorting test at Satake's sorting and processing center and obtained very good results, so we decided to introduce Beltuza along with a wind sorting machine for sorting lightweight foreign matter in the first stage.
Active in new plant
Since this is a new plant, comparisons cannot be made before the introduction of the system, but the current system is effective in removing foreign matter.
Satisfactory support system
I think it is very good.
